Hi Everyone I'm sure you won't need me to tell you that this year is the 10th Anniversary of the closure of the LDDC. Since then we've had nine "official" reunions at various places in Docklands and the City - the only year we missed out was last year.
A few of us thought it would be nice to have a final reunion this year and the only place to do it should really be on the Isle of Dogs, where it all began and ended. I was reminded recently that our first reunion took place in Harry's Bar, so we thought it would be a good idea to go back there for our final get together.
Harry's Bar has since become a Puzzle Pub, but it still looks the same and has a room upstairs, with balcony overlooking the dock. We have managed to hire this area for the evening of Thursday 26 June 2008.
It would be great to get as many people attending as possible for the last official reunion, so please spread the word . This email is going out to quite a lot of people, but I'm sure many of the email address I have are old ones, so please send this email on to anyone you think may be interested in coming along - and tell them it's the final reunion!!
